Are you a teacher? Have you ever thought to yourself "I am surrounded by students every day, so why do I feel so alone?" Teaching can be an isolating job if you let it but there are things you can do to help.

Reach outside your comfort zone. Reaching out to other teachers will create a sense of community in a job that can feel isolating at times. Talk to teachers in your school, collaborate with them to create an enriching learning environment for both the teachers and the students. Reach out to other teachers who teach the same subject as you. Look outside your school at teachers within your district and online who do the same things you do. Share ideas. Ask questions. Be engaged.

Creating a network of lifelong learning opportunities is essential for any teacher. Here are a few blogs that may be of interest for building that online network of learning and connecting with others.
